Wison Chemical Was Awarded Nanjing May 1 Labor Medal

On the eve of May 1, Wison (Nanjing) Chemical Co., Ltd. was awarded "Nanjing May 1 Labor Medal" at the "May 1" International Labor Day Celebration and May 1 Labor Medal Workers Vanguard Presentation Ceremony held by Nanjing Federation of Trade Unions. Meanwhile, General Manager Liu Hongjun, Trade Union Chairman Wu Qingli, and the gasification operating post of Wison Chemical were granted such honorable titles as "Friend of Employees", "Excellent Trade Union Leader", and "Workers Vanguard" respectively by the CPC Nanjing Chemical Industry Park Working Committee, Nanjing Chemical Industry Park Administrative Committee.
 

In past years, Wison Chemical has given full play to its advantages in market and management to deepen reform of industry system and make innovations in management, and has scored notable achievements. In addition, facing the grave impact of the 2009 global financial storm and the severe situation of sharp downturn of the export-oriented economy, Wison Chemical has overcome difficulties in production and operation through active innovations, and strived to increase the company's economic benefits. For example, the production department saved 400 to 500 tons of diesels in the past year by improving the turning down planning and adopting cold standby, which was an equivalent of saving more than RMB 2 million; the finance department reduced the monthly financing cost from 4.425‰ to 2.225‰ by piloting the receivables factoring with the Bank of China. It was exactly the intense sense of ownership and spirit of hard work of Wison's employees that enabled Wison Chemical to achieve substantial progress in quality and speed of economic growth amid the economic crisis. At the end of 2009, the company was also granted the 2009 Taxpaying Contribution Award by Nanjing Chemical Industry Park.
