10:18am February 8th, 2009, fireworks at the Nantong Yard signaled the completion of the JZ25-1S Modular Drilling Rig Project, the modules moving slowly along the heavy loading skidding way towards the load-out quay. By February 14, load-out and sea fastening of all the modules and accessories were completed, and offshore transportation was started the next day. admin admin
This is another modular drilling rig Wison delivered after the PEMEX rigs. It will work at the Bohai Bay on the WHPA Platform of the JZ25-1S oilfield. This rig could drill up to 7,000 meters, and can provide drilling, work over and repair of the oil wells. It consists of DES, P-Tank, Power Module and two cement skids. The design life for the drilling rig is 20 years.admin admin

As Contractor, WISON has provided project management, detail and shop design, procurement, fabrication, equipment installation, onshore commissioning, load-out, transportation to Qingdao, module installation at Qingdao, offshore hookup and commissioning services for the Project. This project started in May 2008 and completed in about 8 months. The smooth completion of this project has set another milestone for Wison in the domestic and international offshore market.
